1. What BTC Mate is
BTC Mate is an informational and analytical application. It displays publicly available Bitcoin blockchain data, market data, network statistics, news and events. It is provided by Nikolas Sarafski ("the developer").
2. What BTC Mate is not
BTC Mate is not a wallet, exchange, custodian, broker, payment service or financial advisor. It does not hold, send, receive, buy, sell, trade or custody Bitcoin or any other asset, and it cannot create, sign or broadcast transactions. It never requests private keys or seed phrases. You remain solely responsible for the wallet and keys that control your Bitcoin.
3. Information only, no advice
Nothing in the app or on this website constitutes investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. Decisions you make based on the information shown are your own.
4. Estimates and accuracy
Figures such as estimated entry price, estimated performance and estimated profit or loss are derived from public on-chain transaction history combined with historical market prices from third parties. They are estimates and may differ from your actual purchase prices and results. Blockchain, price and news data are obtained from third-party sources and can be delayed, incomplete or incorrect. The developer does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any data shown.
5. Third-party services
The app relies on third-party data providers, described in the Privacy Policy. Their availability is outside the developer's control. Links to third-party websites, including news sources and the App Store, are provided for convenience; the developer is not responsible for their content.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the app only in accordance with applicable law and the App Store terms. You must not attempt to reverse engineer the app, interfere with the third-party services it uses, or use the app to harass or surveil others.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its design and the content of this website are the property of the developer unless stated otherwise. Apple, iPhone and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Other product names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.
8. Limitation of liability
The app and the website are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app or the website, including losses resulting from reliance on displayed data or estimates. Mandatory statutory liability, in particular for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health, remains unaffected.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated when the app changes. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing law
